Learn some tips and tricks to shoot your work at home, and improve your online and social media presence!

 

In this workshop Linsey will run you through simple photographic rules and camera functions, how to use light and shadows, and easy editing techniques that you can use regardless of whether you have fancy software or just a couple of apps on your iPhone.

 

Linsey is a writer and photographer, whose work focuses on ideas surrounding food culture, farming, travel and design, often with a sustainability bent. She produces stories for Peppermint Magazine, Broadsheet, Openhouse, Scrag End Journal, The Planthunter and Habitus Living. Linsey has been a regular photographer for Guild of Objects since our launch.

 

What to bring:    
BYO camera. You don’t need a digital SLR to take this workshop, it's about working with the equipment you have at hand and learning techniques to improve your photography skills so you can better showcase your work.
  
You can also bring in one or two pieces of your own handmade work, so that you leave the workshop with some lovely product images to get you started.
  
This is a class for adults, participants must be 18 and over.
 
Only 10 places available for each class.

Refunds & Cancellations
Please choose carefully. Due to our limited class sizes once you've booked and paid we can only issue a refund if the workshop is cancelled. If you are unable to attend you may send a friend in your place or, provided we have a wait list and can fill your place, we can issue you a credit note to use in-store or on future workshops (valid for 12 months). 

We need a minimum of 5 people to attend our workshops. If less than 5 people sign up for a class you will be notified of the class cancellation and your payment will be refunded in full.
