Watercolour Still Life | Elizabeth Barnett
Watercolour Still Life with Elizabeth Barnett
Date: Saturday 29 July, 2017 - SOLD OUT
Address: Guild of Objects, 690 Queensberry Street, North Melbourne 3051
Learn the art of watercolour painting with artist Elizabeth Barnett.
Elizabeth will guide you through some watercolour basics, including what materials to use, how to mix colours and developing your own style. This class is aimed at beginners who want a taster in watercolour painting or intermediates who want a different take on the medium.
Each student will be provided with a palette of paints, a brush, pencil and paper. These will be yours to use in the class and to take home. In the class we will paint a little still life scene based on some of the beautiful things in the Guild of Objects shop.
Elizabeth studied Printmaking and Illustration in Melbourne and London. She was taught watercolour by her Grandmother when she was old enough to hold a paintbrush and has painted ever since. Elizabeth is now painting acrylic on linens and watercolours on paper in her home studio in the Macedon Ranges.
Only 10 places available for each class.
