Andrea Hughes is a Melbourne-based visual artist who earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts at RMIT University. Andrea loves to experiment with mixed mediums and explore different surfaces and vibrant colours and unexpected combinations are hallmarks of her work. Her natural curiosity and passion for the creative process have lead her to produce pieces across many platforms including painting, jewellery, photography and sculpture. Andrea's work seeks to evoke sensory notions, memory, space and time through the exploration of expanded painting processes.
