Lil specialises in neatly twinned kokedamas or mossballs. She started collecting indoor plants late in 2016 and as the collection grew, she wanted to make something quite unique to showcase her plants. And in 2018, Where The Green Things Are was born, a small business specialising in kokedamas and indoor plants.
Traditionally, kokedamas are wrapped rustically where random twinning is used to wrap the ball. However, in this workshop, you will learn the technique of neat twinning, where the jute twine is spaced as symmetrically as possible.
You'll make 2 Kokedamas our workshop - a Mini and a Small.
All materials will be provided. Please wear clothes you do not mind being soiled.
This is a 2.5 workshop and you’ll go home with a wonderful handmade kokedama.
