In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn the basic techniques and craft of hand-building with clay to create your masterpiece. Join Linh and discover why she loves creating unique ceramic vessels with her own two hands! You can choose to make one large vessel or 2 mini vessels.

This 2 hour workshop is suitable for all skill levels including beginners.

YOUR TEACHER

Linh was Born in Hanoi, Vietnam. She moved to Melbourne in 2007 and started to collect ceramics pieces from some local Australian artists about 9 years ago, whereupon she found her interest in clay. She spends her night times mostly creating ceramics pieces by using hand-building techniques such as coiling, slabbing and carving. She has been working with different kinds of clay such as earthenware, stoneware and porcelain, however stoneware in particular interests her because of its durable and dense stone-like quality.
